About Us
Who We Are
Hi, I’m Charlotte, the face behind the flowers! After nearly a decade working in the music industry, I found myself craving something more tactile, creative, and connected to the natural world. Floristry was the perfect hybrid, allowing me to work with my hands, follow the rhythm of the seasons, and create with the most beautiful flowers every day.
What began as a side hustle (think pre-dawn flower market runs and arranging posies on my kitchen floor) soon blossomed into a full-time business. Today, I work alongside a small team of exceptionally talented floral designers in our East London studio.
I still have to pinch myself every time I load up the van with buckets of sensational blooms, or step into a venue ready to transform it with flowers. The magic never wears off.
We let flowers dance, not behave.
Our Style
Our style draws inspiration from nature’s gentle chaos; unruly hedgerows, tangled stems, wild gardens in full bloom. We’re guided by what’s growing at the time, letting each arrangement be shaped by the movement, texture, and character of the flowers in season.
We don’t force flowers to behave, we let them dance, creating wild, free and natural designs that feel beautifully effortless & joyful. Hand-tied bouquets that feel freshly gathered from the garden, and installations that simply seem to have grown into place over time.
When it comes to colour, we’re not afraid to have fun. While we love the soft romance of muted tones, we have a real soft spot for bold, joyful palettes that leave a lasting impression.
Where the seasons lead, our designs follow.
Our Ethos
At My Posy Neighbour, we’re passionate about working with flowers in a way that feels responsible, respectful, and deeply considered.
We care about where our flowers come from and the people who grow them and get the majority of our flowers from a network of brilliant, passionate small-scale British flower farmers in London and beyond
Sourcing in this way means we can be sure of where our flowers come from, how far they’ve travelled to reach us, the treatment of the workers who grow and pick them, and that no harmful chemicals have been used in the process. Not only is this a more sustainable approach but we think the flowers are more beautiful too, full of character, wiggles, and the kind of natural imperfections that make them truly special.
Working seasonally with British flowers keeps us on our toes in the best way. It means waiting patiently for the first flush of sweet peas in Spring, celebrating the deep tones of summer, and embracing the crisp leaves and textures of Autumn. It keeps us constantly inspired and makes each flower all the more special when it finally returns.
